Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
In a shocking turn of events ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, political parties in Andhra Pradesh have allegedly resorted to distributing condom packets adorned with their respective party symbols. The incident has sparked a heated exchange between the two major players in the state's political arena, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), as accusations fly back and forth regarding the controversial distribution.
Reports emerged of workers from the YSRCP sharing a video on social media alleging that the TDP distributed condom packets featuring its party symbol. In retaliation, the TDP countered by accusing the YSRCP of similar actions. Both parties are embroiled in a bitter blame game, accusing each other of attempting to influence voters through unorthodox means.
The YSR Congress Party took to their official social media account, stating, "Finally distributing condoms to people for their party campaign @JaiTDP. Where is the publicity madness? Will Next Share Viagras? At least stop there? Otherwise will further decline @ncbn @naralokesh @PawanKalyan?" Meanwhile, the Telugu Desam Party responded with their own video, condemning such tactics, stating, "Why are you shouting about preparation..readiness? Instead of doing such vile campaigns, we can spend money on corpses."
#EndofTDP https://t.co/hnflIp8F8I
